Limited Capacity full

Effective teaching can only occur when there are positive relationships formed within the classroom community. This workshop highlights how easy it can be to embed practices
into everyday classroom life that are key to forming trusting relationships.
Drawing on the teachings of Professor Lea Waters, the dynamics of a strong teaching team, professional development and their own experiences, Katie and Nerida will unpack how character strengths and aspects of wellbeing can be effectively incorporated into classroom learning.
This workshop will provide teachers with strategies and resources to apply in ways that even four and five year olds can understand and use in their everyday life and learning.
Katie and Nerida will demonstrate how powerful it can be to give voice and ownership to students in how they build positive relationships with peers and teachers.
Participants will discover a variety of ideas, tools and resources to help young learners grow naturally and build positive relationships in their classroom community.
